How about prospecting for your own gold?

Buying gold from a dealer is one thing, but imagine how it must feel to go panning for gold, and driving home at the end of the day with gold in your pocket.

Yes, people still pan for gold.

And here is the place to find out about it – ProspectorPlus.

I found the site because they were kind enough to mention one of my own blog posts. I simply followed their link back and found them.

OK, so panning for gold is unlikely to net you enough gold to retire on. To build a real nest egg you’ll have to keep buying some gold coins and bars through dealers.

But…

There is something truly enchanting about being able to get down and dirty and find gold on your own.

Think about it. All those guys in suits on Wall Street are doing goodness knows what with their fancy computers, while you are crouching by a beautiful stream, under a blue sky, and finding gold for yourself.

It’s like finding money in the ground.

If I ever get to Washington State, I’ll have to look up the folks at ProspectorPlus.
